Introduction of speaker: Barbara Conanan, MS, RN
Purpose: This annual address memorializes Susan Neibacher, MSW, a Health Care for the Homeless pioneer from New York City who insisted that advocacy is central to the HCH model of care.
Speaker: James O’Connell, MD, Founder of BHCHP, will speak on “Reflections on 25 Years of HCH and Our Future Dreams.”
Purpose: The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides major support to Health Care for the Homeless projects and other Health Centers, and HRSA’s policies affect much that is done within HCH. HRSA officials will present the agency’s latest policy directions.
