TennCare Shelter Enrollment Project Regional Trainings

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council is hosting four regional trainings for shelter providers working with youth and families this year. These informative trainings are designed to help your program staff become more familiar with TennCare and opportunities to support the health needs of children experiencing homelessness.

Our 2017-2018 Regional Training series is Shelter Health and features the following topics:  healthcare for the homeless basics, controlling communicable disease in community living settings, engaging consumers in a mental health crisis, and TennCare fundamentals for those living in poverty. 
These trainings are FREE and lunch is provided.

  • Community resources that offer health care for the homeless
