How many people does the Health Care for the Homeless Program serve each year?

In 2015, there were 1,191,772 patients who were homeless served at all health with the majority (840,130) or 70% seen at Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) program grantees. Of those seen at HCH programs, 88% of the patients are under 100% of the federal poverty level (FPL) and 38% are uninsured. Most of the patients (83%) at HCHs are adults age 18 to 64, with 12% of patients were children and youth under the age of 18 and 5% were older adults age of 65 and over.
