This webinar will address the dynamic role of Continuums of Care in addressing homelessness while defining the array of services available to vulnerable populations. The presenters will describe the many opportunities to learn, communicate, collaborate, and integrate CoC and HCH training, planning, services, and programs to better serve people experiencing homelessness and other underserved populations.
People experiencing homelessness are at a much higher disaster risk than their housed counterparts. Among other factors, lack of shelter, inadequate access to emergency information, limited social supports, and complex physical and behavioral health needs warrant special attention to this population when disaster planning.
