New Healing Hands: Treatment Models for Non-Opioid Substance Use Amongst Populations Experiencing Homelessness

The Council’s latest Healing Hands examines treatment models for non-opioid substance use amongst people without homes. A follow-up to our previous issue on the relationship between non-opioid substance use disorder, mental health, and homelessness, this edition focuses on treatment models and pharmacological interventions for non-opioid substance use, including alcohol, methamphetamines, and cocaine.

This issue of Healing Hands also provides tools to help care providers administer comprehensive, trauma-informed health care and harm reduction interventions.
