New Policy Brief: Medical Respite and the Triple Aim Framework

The Institute for Health Improvement’s (IHI) Triple Aim framework is a guide to help health care organizations simultaneously improve three facets of care: population health, the experience of care, and per capita cost. The Council’s new policy brief explores how medical respite care programs can fill gaps in community services for people experiencing homelessness that may undermine the ability of health care systems to achieve these improvement goals. This resource also highlights applicable outcome measures that align medical respite programs with the Triple Aim framework.
