Observing Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day

Today we honor the many who have died while living without a home. On Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day (HPMD) we not only remember those we have lost but also recommit ourselves to fighting for a world where no life is lived or lost in homelessness. Learn why we commemorate this day each year through our HPMD Public Statement and Advocacy Agenda.

Please consider attending an event in your community, and read a letter from our CEO Bobby Watts on the importance of strengthening our resolve to end homelessness. We state clearly, together with others in scores of communities across our nation, that no person should die for lack of housing.
