Council Recognizes World Hepatitis Day

Today, July 28th, join the Council in recognizing World Hepatitis Day. Worldwide, 300 million people are living with viral hepatitis and do not realize they have the disease. People experiencing homelessness are more likely to suffer from hepatitis C than individuals with stable housing and may lack access to proper testing and health care for managing this disease.

FindĀ out how you can help to raise awareness at the World Health Organization, and learn about hepatitis C as it affects people without homes on our Hepatitis resource page.
