Today, on the Summer Solstice, we celebrate the triumphs of people who have overcome the struggles of living without a home and those who continue to surmount barriers while experiencing homelessness. Homelessness is not permanent, and the homeless experience does not define a person or their life. People are able to achieve successes, small to large, in the process of becoming stable that we must honor and celebrate.
We encourage you to take part in a Summer Solstice Success Celebration in your community to applaud the victories of those reclaiming their lives from the grasp of homelessness.
Read our Summer Solstice Success Celebration page to find helpful tips, advocacy recommendations, and resources for hosting your own event.
