Council Recognizes World Hepatitis Day

World Hepatitis DayToday, July 28th, join the Council in recognizing World Hepatitis Day. Viral hepatitis claims approximately 1.4 million lives each year according to the World Health Organization, and hepatitis C is the most common bloodborne infection in the U.S. People without homes are more likely to suffer from hepatitis C than individuals with stable housing.
