If you tried to access the Big Payback website yesterday, May 3, you may have encountered technical difficulties. By 9 a.m. Central Time, the donation form encountered glitches and the full system never rebounded completely, such that the Day of Giving was suspended before 7 p.m. We learned that the error pertained to the national host site, beyond the control of both the National HCH Council and the Big Payback team.
While the technical failures disappointed Council staff, we cannot imagine the stress it incurred on the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and we offer them our sympathies.
Still, before the system lost functionality, the Council was pleased to see $750 earned through 13 individual gifts. Thanks to all of you who were able to complete your contribution, and to the rest of you who tried. We are humbled by the support of our vast and compassionate audience.
While the Big Payback is suspended, our funding needs persist. If you would like to submit your donation through our secure online system, you may do so easily.
Thank you again for your graciousness and generosity.
