Spotlight on HCH Advocacy at 2016 Spring Regional Training

2016 Spring Regional TrainingThe National HCH Council’s 2016 Spring Regional Training will offer an intensive half-day workshop on “Advocacy, Policy Change, and the Health Care for the Homeless Community.”

Presented by HCH advocates and experts including columnist T.R. Reid, whose keynote electrified the audience at last year’s National HCH Conference, this workshop will provide participants with an overview of federal and state legislative processes, illustrating important examples in policy and advocacy including voter registration at HCH clinics and the movement for Universal Health Care.

Please join us for this informative workshop: in a changing health care landscape, it is critical for HCH advocates to work to affect policy change to support HCH and end homelessness.

Registration has closed for the 2016 Spring Regional Training.
