New Publication: “Engaging Youth Experiencing Homelessness”

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council has released a new publication on engaging youth without homes. Youth experiencing homelessness face significant risks of diseases, injuries, and developmental delays that can potentially impact their entire lives. The practices and services that HCH agencies have found useful in engaging that population are the focus of “Engaging Youth Experiencing Homelessness: Core Practices and Services.” Incorporating trauma-informed, consumer-driven principles, this publication addresses challenges in youth engagement and provides resources for information and guidance.
