The National Health Care for the Homeless Council seeks to engage consumers in all aspects of our work. Accordingly, the Council is offering a limited number of consumer subsidies to cover the cost of attending our 2016 National HCH Conference and Policy Symposium from May 31-June 3 in Portland, Oregon.
If you have experienced homelessness and used services at a Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) site, consider applying for a subsidy. These funds cover registration, hotel accommodation, meal reimbursement, and a portion of travel expenses.
More ways to engage: You can also submit nominations for the National Consumer Advisory Board (NCAB) Steering Committee and the Ellen Dailey Consumer Advocate award. The deadline is February 12, 2016.
Contact Katherine Cavanaugh, National Consumer Advocate, for more information about these opportunities or to learn more about the Council’s National Consumer Advisory Board, a network dedicated to organizing consumers at HCH projects to become a collaborative voice on national issues.
