The recently announced program that allows certain immigrants to remain in the U.S. and get work authorization may impact hundreds of thousands of farmworkers. Health centers, as trusted organizations in their communities, are important sources of information for farmworker families. Experts from Farmworker Justice and the UFW Foundation will provide an overview of the newly announced deferred action for parents of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (also known as DAPA) and expansion of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), including implications for farmworker health.
