The Health Care for the Homeless Regional Training brings together individuals and organizations that provide care and compassion to people experiencing homelessness throughout Region IX and the rest of the western United States. The training offers two full days of professional development and networking opportunities. Workshops topics include trauma-informed care, integrating HIV testing into primary care, and an introduction to the new recuperative/medical respite care standards.
This accredited training was planned in collaboration with the Region IX Health Care for the Homeless Advisory Committee to address current needs and concerns of health care, housing, and other service providers in this region.
