The National Health Service Corps: The Ins, Outs, and Opportunities for HCH Grantees

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

This webinar will address the benefits and important site information that health care for the homeless grantees should know about the National Health Service Corps. The NHSC programs provide scholarships and repay educational loans for primary care physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, residents, and other primary care providers who agree to practice in areas of the country that need them most. Across this country, nearly 10,000 National Health Service Corps clinicians are providing care to more than 10.4 million people who live in rural, urban, and frontier communities. HCH grantees, by nature of their 330(h) funding, are approved NHSC sites and can immediately recruit NHSC providers.

This webinar will also highlight useful resources and tools for grantees and will respond to questions.
