HCH New Access Point Awards

On June 20, HRSA announced 219 New Access Point grants that will extend Health Center services to 1.25 million new patients. Among these are New Access Point Awards focused on the primary care needs of people experiencing homelessness, and all of these Health Centers, which are expected to serve all comers regardless of their ability to pay, will likely serve homeless clients.

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council congratulates the successful applicants for these grants. With funding from HRSA, the National HCH Council provides free technical assistance to programs serving or seeking to serve homeless populations, matching Subject Matter Experts (clinicians, administrators, and consumers) to their peers in the field.
