The deadline for the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organization’s OUR STORIES National Contest has been extended until Wednesday, February 8, 2012!
Tell us about your unique experience with Community Health Centers (CHCs) and community leadership. Respond to at least one of the questions below with a video, essay, or photo entry and tell us your story.
- How does your CHC help you and others in your community (e.g. by providing primary health care, interpretation, transportation, counseling, and other services)? What do you think might happen if the services your CHC offered were no longer available to you or others in your community?
- Tell us how you think working at a CHC has impacted the way you practice medicine? Tell other health care providers (e.g. physicians, patient navigators, interpreters, etc.) why you think they should work at a CHC?
- What does it mean to be a CHC advocate or community leader? Why should someone advocate for your CHC? How do you and other supporters advocate for your CHC?
