Medical Respite Care for People without Stable Housing. This case report by HCH clinicians in Cincinnati, Minneapolis, and Denver is intended for clinicians working with homeless people, particularly for those who provide respite care or are interested in initiating such services. Respite care refers to recuperative or convalescent services for those who may not meet criteria for hospitalization, but who are too sick or vulnerable to be discharged to the streets.
