Get Involved! Join the HCH Clinicians' Network!

Joining Hands. Healing Lives.

You can be a part of this vital force of clinicians working to end homelessness by becoming a member of the Health Care for the Homeless Clinicians' Network. And when you join, you automatically become an individual member of the National Health Care for the Homeless Council. The Council's mission is to reform the health care system so that it meets the needs of people who are homeless, and to work in alliance with others whose ultimate goal is to eliminate homelessness.
  • Attend the annual membership meeting
  • Participate in a Network-sponsored round table discussion during the National Health Care for the Homeless Conference
  • Nominate a colleague for the Award for Outstanding Service
  • Give a year's membership to a co-worker
  • Serve as a faculty member for HCH 101, our orientation for those new to health care for the homeless
  • Serve on Healing Hands' editorial board
  • Join a committee and shape work in education, research or member development
  • Post HCH projects' job openings on our website or if you are seeking work in health care for the homeless, let us post your resume
  • Volunteer or nominate a peer for a Steering Committee term
  • Give us feedback on how we're doing and what else we could do to meet your needs by responding to our surveys
Since 1994, the HCH Clinicians' Network has been working to improve the health and quality of life of our homeless neighbors. Your membership, along with the more than 700 other clinicians across the United States and Canada, makes the Network the largest peer support organization serving those working in homeless health care. It's easy to join or renew your membership.

"The contributions of our members are what make this work possible. It's the passion, vision, and commitment of our members that make the Network truly effective."
- Brenda J. Proffitt, MHA
Network Director
