APHA Caucus on HomelessnessThe Caucus on Homelessness is an organization affiliated with the American Public Health Association that helps to bring professional and public attention to the problem of homelessness. It is made up of individuals and organizations throughout the country representing a wide range of disciplines who are committed to addressing public policy and public health issues related to homelessness.Forty-two homeless abstracts from the 134th APHA Annual Meeting have been added to and indexed in the Medical Advocates¹ Homeless Health Web http://medadvocates.org/marg/homeless/main.html Some of the benefits of becoming a member of the Caucus on Homelessness include: •A newsletter with advance information of homeless-related presentations at the annual APHA conference • Access to a forum of professionals from across the spectrum to address research, policy, advocacy, and service delivery issues related to homelessness • The opportunity to help influence national policy on homeless-related issues For more information about the Caucus, please contact current President, Suzanne Zerger at szerger@center4si.com |
