National HCH Grantee Directory
On October 17, 2007, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) redesigned its website, in the process eliminating access to important HCH resources that had been created by Policy Research Associates (PRA) through a multi-year contract with HRSA for the Health Care for the Homeless Information Resource Center (HCHIRC).
As a service to the HCH field and the citizenry, who have invested heavily in the development of the HCHIRC, the National Health Care for the Homeless Council will make HCHIRC resources available on this site.
The HCH Directory is intended to be a reference tool for programs and agencies serving the health care needs of homeless people in the United States. Its purpose is to foster collaboration and communication among people working in this field.
The 2006-2007 edition of the Health Care for the Homeless Grantee Profiles provides current listings of 185 Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) grantees and more than 300 subcontractors and 64 government and private contractors. The information included in these pages is current as of September 2006. As of this posting, in late October 2007, there are seventeen additional HCH grantees; we intend to publish on-line an updated HCH Directory in cooperation with PRA in early 2008.
