Demystifying EHRs: What is Meaningful Use and How Do We Get There?

This webinar is an introductory overview targeted for clinicians and practice administrators who are interested in understanding the 2010 CMS Meaningful Use Regulations for Certified EHRs and its role in supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home Model. Meaningful Use constitutes a dynamic communication among health care providers, patients, and caregivers rather than a static repository of electronic health information. Specific meaningful use criteria were developed for eligible clinician and hospital providers to qualify for financial incentives with the principal goals of transforming health care delivery and improving health outcomes.
