Life on the streets is extremely harsh for homeless women who are often challenged by mental illness, substance use and multiple medical problems. This case-based presentation will focus on the medical, social, behavioral and trauma-related issues shared by homeless women in a respite setting. The importance of a collaborative model of care will be underscored. Introductory Level.
