USING ART TO PORTRAY HOMELESSNESS: CONSUMERS AND ARTISTS SPEAK Location: Hyatt Regency, Curtis B This workshop allows attendees to respond to Sicko and Friday evening's Performance, Film, and Art Showcase. Discussion will include perspectives from current and former consumers of homeless services on the depiction of homelessness in art; the goals of artists when depicting homelessness; and ways that administrators, consumers, and service providers can use such art to improve care and advocacy in HCH clinics.
