THE FUTURE OF HOMELESS SERVICES: A PARADIGM SHIFT? Location: Hyatt Regency, Ellis West Housing first, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, consumer involvement, evidence-based practices, and "ending homelessness instead of managing it". Are we in the midst of a major shift in how housing and homeless services are provided? This workshop will explore current trends in homeless services and examine the question of whether or not they truly represent a paradigm shift. Introductory Level.
