SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE FOR THE HOMELESS --- AND FOR EVERYONE Policy Symposium Workshop Location: Hyatt Regency, Sundance Inclusion of everyone in quality, comprehensive health care requires a financing mechanism that treats everyone on an equal basis, regardless of his or her ability to pay. The National Health Care for the Homeless Council believes that a single payer mechanism will best accomplish this important goal. This workshop will describe the major features of single payer, and will consider the history of health care in America as participants explore prospects for implementing single payer in our country.
