CLINICAL UPDATE: DERMATOLOGY AND SKIN INFECTIONS Location: Hyatt Regency, Ellis Ease Dermatologic conditions are all too familiar in homeless people. With a focus on infections in intravenous drug users, this workshop will address abscess prevention and treatment, wound healing physiology and foot care. Additional highlights include a demonstration on how to care for skin wounds and an introduction to the concept of harm reduction as a way to prevent infections. Advanced level.
