SiCKO, Directed by Michael Moore; Rated PG-13; 113 minutes;
2007 Filmmaker Michael Moore turns his lens on to the American healthcare system and why we are the only developed nation that does not provide universal care for our citizens. The film explores the general topic of how the health system came to be a profit incentive for the private sector as well as specific stories of those who have been devastated by the system. Donna Smith, this year's Neibacher speaker, is featured with her family in the opening segment of Moore's important contribution to advocacy for health care reform.
